2021 KTM 690 SMC-R. Looks awesome! Header is really nice, wow. My exhaust melted my left side turn signal, looks like yours will get pretty hot too. Thanks! and thanks for the heads-up! no sign of that happening yet though! It will be fine with the aftermarket muffler. It doesnโ€™t get nearly as hot as the oem one.

you pretty much cant take any supermoto on the highway for an hour 2 times a month except the drz, wr250, smc, 610smr, maybe a few more. SM's are crap on the highway, all of them. The 690 is not too bad, the gearing is nice, I think mine sat at something like 5,500RPM @ 70MPH, but I changed the gearing.
Posted January 19. Hey there, new to the forum and had a question after I installed new Tekmo header. First off I have a 2019 ktm 690 smcr. Iโ€™ve now got Tekmo header, fmf 4.1 muffler, Rottweiler intake and power commander.. the header went on fine until I went to install the heat shield that attaches to the rear and nothing wants to line up.
